My name is Curtis, and I was born in the Bronx and raised on the twin islands of Antigua and Barbuda. I eventually zigzagged my way back to the hustle and bustle of New York city. The contrast between these two places has helped me appreciate the diversity of our world while reinforcing the importance of values I hold dear.
Reflecting on my childhood, most of my fondest memories came from me exploring my passion for music, being a part of a choir, orchestra and even forming my own rap group back in high school and performing at big events. I truly believe that life is all about connecting and sharing your experience with others and I think music is the best form of expression to do so.
I Have received the amazing opportunity to represent the Bronx in a project called Bronx to Berlin where I will be taking part in a 3 month internship at KISS FM, the biggest urban radio station in Berlin.
I see myself as a fun, artistic ad optimistic person and I strive to help people see the beauty of the world through my work.
